10 Years After

My return to college

Gouge Away

I went by campus to day to pay my tuition installment. This is a very handy service. However, I had to wait nearly an hour to make the 30 second transaction. The wait was totally my fault. If I had a check card I believe I could have paid online.

Classes start Wednesday. I'm tied for class I'm most worried about- Prob & Stat and Spanish. Both of these will take a lot of dedication and willpower, plus daily studying. However, I'm dedicated to receiving all A's again this semester. That's right, last semester I had all A's (with one A-). Rawk on!

Also, over Winter Break I started some reading early for my History of English class (Website here). This should be a very interesting and fun class. I purchased the book from Amazon.com because on the last day of finals last semester I was told by a bookstore employee that no book had been requested for that class yet (meaning, not only did they not have a text book for the class, but that they had not been instructed which text to order). I also purchased the poetry genre text but hadn't done much more than skimmed through it. Of note, there is a rap by Run DMC in it- Peter Piper, an excellent tune.
