It's been well over a month since I posted last. I made it through the semester. Finals were a bitch and, on top of that, I broke things off with my fiance. My GPA barely rose and is nowhere near the 3.0 I really need to get into a good grad school. My feeling of a sloppy semester was reflected in the B I pulled in Literary Criticism and the A- in one of my technical writing classes. Despite these poor grades I did manage to make it onto the Dean's List for the first time. The week of finals I received confirmation from the graduation department. They responded to my query with a list of unmet requirements for graduation. I'm partially confused because they compiled their list based on what I was initially registered for in the Spring and since then I initially registered I managed to change around a few classes. Now I need to make sure that what I am registered for will still cover all that I need - 5 history classes (one of which needs to be writing intensive), a science, and a PE.
