Zombies And Hobos
I had my final exam for the West this morning at 8am. I stayed up all night. It was a good idea. The test could have gone much better. It should have gone much better. Still, it wasn't too bad. The test consisted of six multiple choice essay questions of which we were to answer four. Actually, the instructions on the test said to "answer question four." When one of the students asked about this the instructor was a complete prick. There was also a section of identification. I think there was 8 items and we had to identify six of them.
As students turned in their exams the instructor looked over people's blue books. He told me that he had my report to give back to me. On the way to his office he muttered something about people turning them in via e-mail and how he thought he would require that in the future. I had no idea what he was talking about since I had turned in a hard copy of my paper. Once at the office he wasn't able to locate it, but pulled up my grade for it on his computer: B+/A-. Not bad. I would have liked to have seen his comments. Maybe I'll stop by later in the week to pick it up. (Speaking of which, I still need to talk to my East Asian professor sometime this week.)
I worked for a short while on the second part of the exam for the Holocaust - the short essay. Then laid down and slept for a while. I made it to work a few minutes late. I was so exhausted that I actually fell asleep for a short while at work. When I got off work I ended up helping the neighbors with a paper for an art class - something on Americanism and the impact of Roland Barthe. I helped out a few times previously. The other neighbor (the boyfriend) was over as well. I couldn't get anything down on paper so I thought I'd post and finally make that copy of the Lederhosen Lucil cd I picked up last October at the Kid Koala show in Asheville with Rich and Greg. (Better late than never.)
