How Will I Laugh Tomorrow
Tuesday, today. is the deadline to have all the documentation in for the "extenuating circumstance" required to drop my History of East Asia class. I was banking on my supervisor at work writing me a letter. He was suppose to have handed it to me Friday. Friday he said to page him early Monday morning and he would write it for me. I've been paging him all day with no response. it seems like I won't be receiving the letter from him in time. The only other option is to reapproach the professor and ask him to give me an incomplete and allow me to make up the work for the last few weeks of this semester over the summer.
I also received my paper back from the Holocaust class. Considering the deplorable citations the grade, a B, wasn't bad. It's now 5:15 and I just finished the paper due today for my History of the American West class. The paper for the Holocaust was on how the Nazis used language and how the Holocaust has effected language use. He commented that it was a solid paper, but that the citations, even of direct quotes, was sorely lacking. If it hadn't been such a rush, last minute, job I would have gone through and documented everything.
The paper for The West is on the Navajo language and is fully cited. Considering how poorly I did on the first exam in there (I'm guessing since I haven't stopped by his office to pick it up) I can use a really good grade in the class.
